Pavel Zajíček born in 1951, After unfinished studies at Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU worked in various blue-collar jobs. In 1973 he founded the Mejlis Hlavsa underground music band DG 307, which with a few breaks and many variations personnel operates today. In 1976 he was in a show trial and sentenced to imprisonment for hooliganism (judgment was abolished in 2003 by the Supreme Court).

In 1980 he emigrated, first to Sweden and later to the U.S., where he focused primarily visual arts. After the coup in 1989, he lived alternately in New York and Prague, since 1995 living permanently in Prague.
